Dell tossing HTC Aria handset through AT&T for free

All those who have still not purchased the HTC Aria handset may surely not want to miss this opportunity to grab the device. The Dell Mobility Store now offers the HTC Aria smartphone through AT&T without any additional cost. The offer is valid only for new AT&T customers.

This Android 2.1 powered handset flaunts a 3.2” TFT touchscreen displaying a resolution of 320 x 480p. It is fitted with a 5MP digital camera with AF functionality that allows video recording as well. The built-in MP3 player supports tracks played in AAC, MP3 and WAV formats. The phone’s Li-Ion battery is cited to offer a standby time of up to 15.5 days and a talk time of up to 6 hours.

The storage capacity of the phone is backed by a 384MB RAM along with a 2GB microSD card and can be extended by up 32GB. This Bluetooth ready device is attributed with Wi-Fi capabilities. The gadget is bundled with a charger, a data cable, a 3.5mm headset and a quick start guide. Its network support spreads over GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and UMTS 850, 1900.

All new AT&T clients may avail of the HTC Aria handset for free with a two year customer contract via the Dell Mobility Store. The handset is available for $129.99 if bought outside of AT&T’s scheme. Dell listing the phone on its store is surprising indeed considering the company also plans to reveal some of its own smartphones through AT&T soon.
